Eco Friendly Weddings

If you 're thinking of having an Eco Friendly Wedding here are a couple of things to think about. Electronic invitations please! edible table seating cards,  recycled decor for the centerpieces, there are endless possibilities.  As for venues I sugest the outdoors, less electricity is used and you get full contact with nature.  Botanical gardens (free decor as for flowers), the beach, forests, and even a local museum gardens.
Catering must be organic, we all know organic food is more expensive so if you have a tight budget consider locally grown food and same time support the agriculture of the country.
Edible favors, home made soap, miniature trees or fresh spices! all  are good options. But also consider donating to charity instead letting your guests know about your contribution.
Let's not forget to shop for the dress at a vintage shop! that way you can check it out from the list  "something used" ;)
Most importantly, Have FUN!

Unique Simplicity of Black & White

If you're a simple gal, theres no need to over do it in the color palette of your wedding. A unique black and white selection with a hint of accent color will give your wedding a touch of elegance. I highly suggest the following...Silver, Pewter, Gold, Yellow, Wine, Tiffany Blue, Royal Blue....

You can add accent colors to either the flower arrangements, chair cover or pillow, charges, candelabras, favors or table runners. My personal favorite is lighting effects on draped fabrics or columns, it gives the room life and an intimate romantic feeling.
The key is to not over do it!

The Hard Working BEE

This is my first post in this blog! Well my name is Nicole Kresheck i was born in San Juan Puerto Rico. My mother (an artist) was from Two Rivers Wisconsin and my father  (a musician) from Santurce Puerto Rico.  I studied at "Escuela Libre de Musica" which in Spanish means School Free of Music, in English it doesn't make any sense cause the school is all about music! My instrument was the piano, I took signing lessons and some clarinet. I always wanted to be an actress and everyone else kept saying I should be an artist... In my life's story I was made to create. I graduated high school in 2003 and went to "Escuela de Artes Plasticas" which in Spanish means School of Plastic Arts or Visual arts for that matter, I studied Graphic Design. Looking for a job one day I came across this flower shop named "Festivo" which in Spanish means Festive, I became part of the Festivo team as a logistic or event decor coordinator. I fell in love with the industry and since then i started my own business.

I got married myself to a wonderful humble and noble man who loves me, respects me and most importantly believes in me. Together we have a 2 year old daughter who brights up our life every day! My daughter is my little helper, you might see her assisting me at the events and maybe someday she'll take over the business.

Bee Events and Design is more that just event planning, we combine all aspects of design to create unique events. Also graphic design from logos, web pages and more. The concept of the name of the company came from actual bee's. I think bee's are extraordinary insects, they are hard working, organized, determined and unique. I can describe myself same as bee's which is why i chose the the name Bee Events and Design.  As honey is to bee's, events and design is to me. It takes time, patience, creativity, love and an eye for details to achieve a remarkable event and at the end as the bride and groom walk in and see their dream come true, their smiles and tears of joy are like the sweet honey that a small bee has been working hard for. Nothing is more satisfying than that!
